Ombré: In or Out?

Ombré hair was a huge trend this past year. Whether they were bold or natural, everyones tips were the highlight - irony intentional - of their look. I, for one, tried a fun pastel look using pink and purple chalk on the ends of my hair.

What I want to know is this: Is ombré slowly becoming a passing trend, or is it here to stay?
